Nintendo has announced a new interactive clock called Alarmo, which features sounds from their well-known franchises. The alarm can be turned off by pressing a button or by body movement during waking up, and the clock also has a sleep motion tracking function.
The clock will be available in the US and Canada in early 2025 at a price of $100, and Nintendo Switch Online subscribers can already purchase it on the website, while everyone else can buy it in person at the Nintendo Store in New York. Customers from Europe will have the opportunity later this week.
"Alarmo responds to your body movements with sounds from the games, allowing you to feel like you're in your favorite title when waking up," said Nintendo, adding that "the alarm is inspired by five Nintendo games and there will be more soon."
Nintendo revealed that you can choose from 35 scenes from Super Mario Odyssey, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Splatoon 3, Pikmin 4, and Ring Fit Adventure.
"Experience the sounds and music from the scenes you selected. Wake up to the sounds from the Mushroom Kingdom with Mario and friends, start your morning adventure with Zelda and Link, or wake up refreshed with the Inklings from Splatoon 3."
Nintendo also released an official Q&A blog with the creators of Alarmo, Yosuke Tamori and Tetsuya Akam.
