The first three Hitman games are getting remastered editions.

Saber Interactive and IO Interactive have announced Hitman Classic Trilogy Remastered, a new collection that brings back the first three games from the legendary stealth series. The collection will be released in 2027 for PC via Steam, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S.

Hitman Classic Trilogy Remastered includes Hitman: Codename 47, Hitman 2: Silent Assassin, and Hitman: Contracts. These are the games that laid the foundation of the series and introduced Agent 47 as one of the most recognizable characters in the stealth genre. The remastered edition retains the original systems, tone, and freedom of approach to missions, but presents them with improved visual presentation.

The collection will feature enhanced character models, refined environments, and higher resolution textures. An instant graphics toggle has also been confirmed, an option that allows for quick switching between the original and enhanced display. Players will also be able to use Photo Mode, designed for capturing scenes, environmental details, and moments from missions.

The essence of Hitman remains the same. Players will use disguises, tactics, the environment, and various tools to reach their target, complete the task, and escape without unnecessary noise. Each mission offers multiple paths, and success depends on observation, planning, improvisation, and the right moment to act.

Saber Interactive already has experience with remasters and modern releases of well-known games. The studio has previously worked on projects such as Tomb Raider I-III Remastered, Tomb Raider IV-VI Remastered, Legacy of Kain Soul Reaver 1 & 2 Remastered, Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary, Halo: The Master Chief Collection, and The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt for Nintendo Switch.

Hitman Classic Trilogy Remastered can already be added to your wishlist via Steam. The exact release date has not yet been announced, but it has been confirmed that the collection will arrive during 2027.
