We bring you some news from the world of video games that Virus.hr has not covered so far, and that are worth noting!

This time the focus is on several smaller PC announcements, but also one piece of news that isn't good for Quantic Dream. Spellcasters Chronicles will cease operations on June 19, 2026, just a few months after its Early Access release on Steam. The free-to-play third-person action strategy clearly failed to find a large enough audience, so the studio decided to halt further development and shut down the servers. All amounts spent during the Early Access phase will be available for a full refund upon request, and Quantic Dream emphasizes that this decision does not affect the development of the game Star Wars Eclipse.

On the other hand, fans of tools for creating their own RPGs received an interesting announcement. Gotcha Gotcha Games officially introduced RPG Maker U2U, a new edition of the well-known role-playing game creation software.

The biggest novelty is P2D, or Perspective 2D system, which adds a sense of depth and richer visual effects to classic 2D maps. The tool is coming to PC, but the release date has not yet been announced.

For fans of tactical RPGs, Tactics Wanderer has been announced, a classically styled strategy RPG developed by the Thai solo developer Critical Damage Studio.

The game draws inspiration from titles such as Fire Emblem and Final Fantasy Tactics, and is expected to be released for PC in late 2026 or early 2027. The authors promise at least 24 chapters, seven main heroes, over 40 classes, and a deep character development system.

Pixel Maniacs has introduced Fables of Dwale, an adventure set in a world after the end of fairy tales. Players take on the role of Little Red Riding Hood, exploring unusual locations, meeting familiar characters from fairy tales, gathering resources, and trying to find a cure for a mysterious illness known as Dwale. The game has been announced for PC, but there is currently no release date.

Finally, Deck13 Spotlight will take on the publishing of the game Crystals of Irm, an old school RPG from the studio Lots of Stuff Games.

This title relies on dungeon crawl elements, exploring the world of Irm, and movement-based combat. Crystals of Irm has been announced for PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC, but the exact release date has not yet been confirmed.
