Digital Extremes is preparing Soulframe, a new free-to-play fantasy action RPG from the studio known for Warframe. According to the Steam page, the game will combine adventure, action, RPG elements, an open world, third-person combat, magic, PvE, and multiplayer, with an emphasis on nature, mythology, and character customization.
At the heart of the game is the fight against the corruption that devours the world, and players will forge their path with sword, bow, and magic. Soulframe is set in a handcrafted fantasy world where exploration, land restoration, and connection with nature are key parts of the experience. The release date has not yet been confirmed, and the game is listed as “coming soon” on Steam. Players can already add it to their wishlist.
