According to the latest financial report from Kadokawa, the parent company of FromSoftware, the release schedule for both titles has not changed so far. The report states that FromSoftware is expected to contribute to the results this year through Elden Ring: Tarnished Edition and The Duskbloods, a completely new title intended for the Nintendo Switch 2.
Elden Ring: Tarnished Edition is set to bring the popular action RPG to Nintendo's new console, while The Duskbloods is particularly interesting as it is a new FromSoftware project announced for the Nintendo Switch 2. Although exact release dates have not yet been confirmed, Kadokawa's report confirms that both titles are still listed for 2026.
The Duskbloods was previously described as a PvPvE title, which sets it apart from the classic single-player approach for which FromSoftware is best known. On the other hand, Elden Ring on the Nintendo Switch 2 could be one of the more significant tests of the new console's capabilities when it comes to large open-world titles.
For now, we must wait for the official confirmation of the release dates, but according to current information, both FromSoftware projects are still part of the Nintendo Switch 2 plan for 2026.
