Blue Backpack, ByteRockers’ Games, and PARCO GAMES have announced that the acclaimed 2D metroidvania Constance is coming to Nintendo Switch 2. Players who already own the Nintendo Switch version will receive a free upgrade to the Nintendo Switch 2 edition.
The new version brings an improved performance mode running at up to 120 frames per second, a quality mode in 1440p resolution, enhanced sound, and integrated achievements.
Constance is a hand-drawn adventure where players take on the role of an artist with a brush, and her abilities include transforming into color, moving through floors and walls, aerial attacks, and various brush techniques. The game combines combat, platforming challenges, puzzles, and exploration of six different biomes within the inner world of the main character.
Through a non-linear interconnected world, players uncover secrets, side quests, boss battles, and details from Constance's past, while helping her understand personal struggles, creativity, and her own purpose.
