Bandai Namco has announced an expansion for the action RPG Code Vein II titled Mask of Idris. It will be available for standalone purchase as well as part of the deluxe and ultimate editions, and a free 2.0 update will also be released.
Code Vein II takes players on an epic journey where they use time as their weapon, traveling through past and present versions of the world while uncovering the battle that will save humanity. Mask of Idris is set in the Forsaken World, a realm built from other worlds that have vanished due to historical changes. This world constantly gathers emotions from all times and spaces and now poses a threat to the real world.
As this new battle unfolds, players will meet Liv Voda, the guardian of time and space who possesses combat abilities. Mask of Idris is part of the content that can be played after completing the main story, meaning you must have the Luna Fraterna ending and completed the side mission Valentin’s request.
As for the free 2.0 update, it will provide us with additional content to explore with our partners after completing the main story, with more details to be revealed soon.
Code Vein II is available for PC, PlayStation 5, and XBOX Series X/S.
