Fields of Aaru is a cozy open-world life sim set in Aaru, a paradise from Egyptian mythology. The game is developed and published by Zymartu Games, with a tentative release planned for the fourth quarter of 2026 on PC via Steam. The exact release date has not yet been confirmed.
Players will build a home along the fertile banks of the Nile, restore the river community, and spend their days growing crops, fishing, gathering resources, and crafting tools inspired by the everyday life of ancient Egypt. Fields of Aaru does not rely solely on home decoration and agriculture, but also on gradually bringing life back to the village through quests, upgrades, and helping the local population.
Behind the calmer part of the game lies the exploration of the open desert. Players will discover hidden oases, forgotten ruins, pyramids, and tombs buried in sand. During their exploration, they will be able to find rare materials, learn ancient crafts, and restore obelisks that unlock new regions, powers, and fast travel options.
An important part of the game will be the irrigation system, land shaping, and canal construction, which should connect agriculture, building, and exploration into a cohesive whole. Through yields and shrines, players will be able to receive blessings from the Egyptian gods, while the community's progress will be reflected in the restoration of the village and the expansion of available activities.
Fields of Aaru is currently announced for PC via Steam, where a demo version is also available.
