Beholgar 2 is available from June 12, 2026, for Xbox, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam. It is a retro action metroidvania by Turkish solo developer Serkan Bakar, known for Ghoul Boy and the first Beholgar.
The game draws on medieval fantasy, He-Man, and the world of Arabian Nights. This time, Beholgar must descend into the depths of hell to find a weapon forged in demonic flame, as an ancient evil has awakened again and an ordinary sword is no longer enough.
Beholgar 2 features seven biomes, battles against dragons, giants, and possessed enemies, five different weapons, and rings that enhance player abilities. There is also long-range secondary weaponry, as well as a retro visual style enhanced with additional filters.
According to the publisher Dolores Entertainment, the game lasts about five to six hours. The price is €17.99, with a 20 percent discount during the first two weeks after release.
