Farming Simulator 25 continues the series of innovations, and GIANTS Software is preparing the Highlands Fishing expansion, which will be released on November 4, 2025. This add-on introduces aquaculture elements — breeding and fishing for fish such as salmon and trout in ponds, at sea, or along the coast, along with a new map Kinlaig, inspired by the Scottish Highlands, ancient castles, and rugged landscapes. The content of the expansion will also be available for purchase in physical form along with the base game for all supported platforms (PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC).
Additionally, Farming Simulator 25 was available to play at this year's Gamescom 2025, where visitors could try the game live.
Moreover, it has been confirmed that Farming Simulator: Signature Edition, based on Farming Simulator 25, will also come to Nintendo Switch 2 this winter. The game is expected to bring over 400 machines, 25 crops, three different maps, and a complete farming experience on the new console.
