Argonaut Games, Titanium Studios, and Big Boat Interactive have released a new update for Croc Legend of the Gobbos. The Platinum Edition is currently available on Steam, while it will arrive on GOG, Switch, and Xbox on October 16, and for PlayStation 4 and 5, they will receive the update as a new version.
The team states that the Platinum Edition was created because they did not design enough trophies at the time of release to qualify for PlayStation, and since this situation cannot be resolved through patching, they made a new version of the game that includes 16 new trophies and one platinum. While they were at it, they decided to add them to the other versions as well.
Of course, that's not all this version contains, as it also includes the following:
- New time trial gameplay mode called Time Attack
- More than 25 new chapters for Crocipedia
- Ability to switch between different Croc Main Theme mixes in the main menu
- Loads of bug fixes
- Quality-of-life options and improvements
