Anime and retro-inspired publisher Top Hat Studios, Inc. and Brazilian studio Regular Studio have confirmed that their upcoming action-adventure MotorSlice will be released on May 5, 2026, for PC (Steam and GOG), PlayStation 5, and Xbox platforms. It is one of the most wishlisted games on Steam (among the top 150), which gained significant popularity over the past year thanks to its dynamic gameplay and striking visual style.
In MotorSlice, players take on the role of Slicer P, whose task is to infiltrate a massive megastructured complex, climb to the top using parkour skills, and destroy all machines in the way. However, the mission quickly turns into something far more dangerous when P discovers a terrifying machine that changes the rules of the game. With the help of a mysterious, malfunctioning Orb drone, P relies on her chainsaw to survive brutal, fast-paced battles where one mistake means the end. The game features a fluid parkour system, battles against huge mechanical bosses, as well as exploration of brutalist, liminal spaces.
In addition to action, MotorSlice also offers quieter “slice-of-life” moments that explore P's thoughts and daily life within the cold megastructure. Visually, the game combines pixel art and modern low-poly style, while the atmosphere is further enhanced by a DnB/Jungle soundtrack by Pizza Hotline.
