Critical Damage Studio, which consists of an independent developer from Bangkok, has announced a new turn-based RPG titled Tactics Wanderer. This title is expected to be released by the end of 2026 or early 2027 for PC, aiming to capture the attention of fans of classic games such as the Final Fantasy and Fire Emblem series.
Tactics Wanderer is set on the continent of Athelon, where seven kingdoms are engaged in various formations fighting against an invasion launched by a mysterious race known as Armond. Throughout the campaign, we will follow seven heroes across 24 chapters and more than 40 unique combat units. Players will have numerous tactical combinations at their disposal, and to turn the tide of battle in their favor, they will be assisted by blacksmiths, bards, and equipment bearers.
Critical Damage Studio has also prepared a special Hard Mode with a zero tolerance rule for losses, which, unlike the standard mode, will feature permanent character death, meaning that when your units die, the game ends immediately.
