Ubisoft's subsidiary Vantage Studios has announced that the Assassin's Creed series will have new leadership. It is composed of three veterans who will play a key role in determining where it will go, how the vision, creativity, and overall progress of the series will develop.

At the helm will be Martin Schelling, who will be responsible for the overall strategy and long-term vision of the brand. Schelling brings a combination of deep production experience and understanding of Assassin's Creed, having shaped his leadership by working on Assassin’s Creed Revelations, Assassin’s Creed Black Flag, Assassin’s Creed Origins, and Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. Martin was also, until recently, the chief producer at Ubisoft and oversaw the progress of the company's portfolio.

Jean Guesdo will be in charge of brand content, meaning he will lead the direction of creativity, support individual titles, and create a new future while respecting the very DNA of the series. Guesdo is a veteran of Ubisoft and began his work in 2007 on the original Assassin's Creed. He will also be remembered as the creative director of Assassin’s Creed Origins and Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag.

Francois de Billy will take on the role of head of the production excellence department, meaning he must strengthen production steps and performance across the brand. Like Schelling and Guesdo, he is also a veteran of the company and was the creative director of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla and Assassin’s Creed Origins.

Billy and Guesdo also share a history, as they have worked on several games in the series over the years. In the coming weeks, they will join brand manager Andreea-Anne Boisvert and brand vice president Lionel Hiller to lead the series into a new and ambitious chapter.
