A cooperative adventure with remote-controlled cars is coming out on September 7, 2026, on Steam, along with a Friends Pass and a demo for PC and Steam Deck.

Firevolt announced during the Future Games Show that WheelMates will be released on September 7, 2026, on PC via Steam. It is a cooperative driving game for two players where small remote-controlled cars explore the home of an eccentric missing scientist, and alongside the Steam version, a Friends Pass will be available, meaning that two people can play with just one purchased copy of the game. Versions for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S are currently in development and will be released later.

WheelMates guides players through an unusual home turned into a sort of maze, where everyday household items become huge challenges, and rooms like the kitchen, garage, and yard hide puzzles, secrets, and clues about the professor's disappearance. Players will need to cooperate, synchronize their movements, solve environmental puzzles, and upgrade their RC cars with gadgets like swinging ropes, magnetic wheels, and other aids.

Starting June 7, 2026, an updated demo version for PC and Steam Deck will be available on Steam. The demo brings expanded story elements through scanning selected items, memory cards with details about the homeowner, a new Journal for reviewing clues, improved controls, additional camera settings, and support for Steam Deck.
