Run a monstrous zoo, take care of supernatural beings, and hide dark rituals from the public!

Overpowered Team and indie.io are working on the game Monster Zoo Tycoon, a darkly comedic management simulator where players build and manage a zoo filled with vampires, zombies, werewolves, and other supernatural beings.

At first glance, Monster Zoo Tycoon appears to be a return to classic tycoon games where the goal is to attract visitors, expand attractions, and keep the park profitable. Behind the family-friendly facade, however, lies a different operation: a secret cult dedicated to the Dark Lord. While visitors explore the exhibits and spend money in the park, players must develop the cult, expand its influence, and ensure that the public doesn't ask too many questions.

Each monster in the park has its own needs, behaviors, and dietary requirements. Vampires need blood, zombies need brains, and some creatures seek something even more dangerous. If they are not cared for well enough, they can escape their enclosures, attack visitors, and cause chain reactions of disasters throughout the park. Additionally, players must manage public relations, cover up suspicious disappearances, deal with investigations, saboteurs, and supernatural incidents.

The cult aspect of the game allows for capturing visitors through traps disguised as innocent attractions. Captured visitors can be recruited, sacrificed to create Faith resources, or used as food for the zoo's inhabitants. Faith is then used to unlock the Dark Lord’s Favorsa, new buildings, systems, and increasingly dangerous options. Cultists can also be sent on expeditions to find new monsters for the collection.

Monster Zoo Tycoon thus combines park building, monster care, crisis management, and the hidden expansion of a cult. The more successful the zoo, the more visitors it attracts, bringing with them more opportunities for profit, recruitment, sacrifice, and the expansion of the Dark Lord's influence.
