Studio Grasshopper Manufacture will announce their new project this year. During the special Grasshopper Direct celebrating the release of Romeo is a Dead Mana, the studio president Goichi “Suda 51” Suda addressed the audience.
"We have surprises for all of you in this Grasshopper Direct. We are 100 percent confident that we will release another game in 2026. What will it be like? When will we announce it? We are not sure yet, but if you can wait a little longer, we will be ready to announce it. Keep following us on social media, events, and more presentations like this, and our big announcement will be near."
Suda also commented on the issue of physical copies of the Nintendo Switch 2 version of Romeo is a Dead Mana: "The packaged versions that everyone is asking about... We in the industry call them physical versions. Many have asked us about them, and we are currently seeking agreements with several companies and doing everything we can, so I ask for a little more patience. When the version for Nintendo Switch 2 and the copies are ready, we will inform you."
