Ubisoft has announced that the Far Cry series will receive a live-action series that will introduce new characters and a different story each season, which will be available through the streaming service Hulu, and will be created in collaboration with the television network FX. The series is being developed by Noah Hawley (Alien: Earth) and Rob McElhenney (It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Mythic Quest).
"What I love about the Far Cry game franchise is that it’s an anthology. Each game is a variation on a theme, in the same way that each season of Fargo tells a different story," said Hawley.
"Ubisoft has been incredibly generous, entrusting us with one of the most legendary worlds ever created," said McElhenney.
