ATTACK SHARK RS6 ULTRA announced: 8K wireless gaming mouse with a removable battery

The renowned brand ATTACK SHARK has announced the launch of a new flagship model: RS6 ULTRA, a wireless gaming mouse designed for competitive FPS players and the esports market. The new model features a combination of lightweight carbon construction, advanced sensor, low-latency wireless connection, and an innovative hot-swappable battery system.

One of the main features of the RS6 ULTRA model is the magnetic hot-swappable battery system, which addresses common issues with wireless mice. Unlike integrated batteries that require charging via cable or traditional replaceable batteries with mechanical covers, ATTACK SHARK uses a magnetic connection with gold-plated contacts. This allows for quick and easy battery replacement without tools and without interrupting the connection. Combined with a dual-battery system, one battery powers the mouse while the other charges simultaneously via the included 8K receiver, ensuring continuous use and longer device lifespan.

RS6 ULTRA also features a patented sensor position adjustment system. Users can choose from five mechanical positions to customize the sensor's position to their own grip style, hand size, and aiming style. This personalization is designed to enable more precise motion tracking and more consistent aiming in fast-paced FPS titles.

Performance is handled by a custom PixArt PAW3955MAX sensor in combination with a Nordic nRF54L15 wireless MCU. The mouse supports a polling rate of up to 8000 Hz, with precise sensitivity adjustments in 1 DPI increments. Maximum specifications include 52,000 DPI, a tracking speed of 850 IPS, and an acceleration of 75G, along with five levels of lift-off distance. Such features aim for maximum precision in games like VALORANT, Counter-Strike 2, and Apex Legends.

Thanks to the Nordic platform, RS6 ULTRA offers improved stability of the wireless connection and energy efficiency. At a 1000 Hz polling rate, the battery life reaches up to 800 hours, significantly reducing the need for frequent charging during longer gaming sessions.

ATTACK SHARK also highlights its own wireless transmission technology that achieves click latency of less than 0.168 milliseconds in 8K mode. The included 8K receiver, inspired by the shape of a shark fin, comes with an extended antenna for a stronger signal and LED indicators for connection status, polling rate, and battery level.

Structurally, the RS6 ULTRA uses a hybrid carbon structure with a ventilated “hollow-shell” design that combines low weight, strength, and better heat dissipation. The cooling-effect surface reduces discomfort during prolonged use, while the CNC-machined metal scroll wheel and anodized parts increase wear resistance.
