The third part of the overview continues to highlight games and additional content from the big June wave of announcements. This time, the selection is particularly diverse, as it includes cooperative psychological horror, a new story for Cronos: The New Dawn, free-to-play creature hunting in an open world, a major expansion for The Alters, while My Cannibal Family adds an unusual combination of horror, simulation, and dark humor.

Cordura

Garage51 has showcased the gameplay reveal trailer for Cordura, a cooperative psychological horror for one to four players.

The game's story takes players to a Victorian villa where they must find the Roses of the Night before time runs out and the house locks them inside forever. Cordura relies on teamwork, but also on distrust among players, as the house gradually undermines the characters' sanity and begins to mimic the voices and bodies of their teammates. As a result, classic horror exploration transforms into a game of suspicion, communication, and survival.

Cronos: Lazarus

Bloober Team has announced Cronos: Lazarus, a story DLC for Cronos: The New Dawn. The expansion is set to release this fall.

Cronos: Lazarus brings a new chapter to the story and puts players in the role of the Warden. Unlike the base game, which emphasized precision, caution, and conflict selection, this expansion leans towards a faster and more aggressive combat style. Players will return to the wasteland of New Dawn, explore parts of the Warden's past, and face a new enemy created specifically to stop him. The DLC also introduces new abilities, including faster movement, temporary invisibility, and the ability to create decoys for enemies.

Aniimo

Kingsglory and Pawprint Studio have confirmed that Aniimo will be released in the third quarter of 2026 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PC, iOS, and Android. The game will be free-to-play.

Aniimo is an open-world action RPG focused on capturing and connecting with creatures called Aniimo. Players, known as Pathfinders, will explore the world of Idylla, fight, build homes, and encounter various forms of Aniimo creatures. A global closed beta has also been announced, which will take place during the summer on PC, iOS, and Android. The beta will bring new creatures, new forms, a water region called Island of Peace, additional home customization options, cooperative challenges, a PvP mode called Diamond Egg Heist, and the ability to trade Aniimo creatures among players.

The Alters: Last Variable

11 bit studios has announced Last Variable, a paid DLC for The Alters. The expansion is set to release on July 13, 2026.

Last Variable brings around 20 hours of new content, new mechanics, an underground base, and a gameplay loop focused on terraforming parts of the planet into green, oasis-like biomes. The story focuses on scientific versions of Jan, including a geologist, biologist, chemist, and physicist, each with a different perspective on science and the consequences of research. Players will build underground, explore new regions, develop technology, set up field laboratories, and survive long cycles in which time affects the characters and their decisions differently.

My Cannibal Family

Secret Mode and The Chinese Room have announced My Cannibal Family, a monster horror simulation for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. The release date has not yet been announced.

The game puts players in the role of a monster living in what seems to be an ordinary family house, but inside lies a much darker everyday life. My Cannibal Family combines horror, life simulation, and dark humor, with an emphasis on maintaining family routine, hiding horrors from the outside world, and surviving in a home where the boundaries of normalcy are completely turned upside down. Instead of classic horror where we run from monsters, here we are part of a family that is itself a source of discomfort.
