-World of Tanks Modern Armor invites players to the battlefield alongside some of the most historically significant commanders in the new event WARRIORS. Accept the challenge and gather a series of epic tanks in a completely new Combat Lottery, a tournament managed by the community where every battle matters.
From May 12 to June 1, 2026, players will rally behind legendary military figures from various centuries. Tankers can choose to carry the banner of one of four champions: Georg von Frundsburg, Meng Tian, Marcus Claudius Marcellus, and Minamoto no Yoshiie.
This three-week community event places players behind a new warrior each week in direct confrontations. Each conflict leads to a finale where the two-week winners face off in a battle for ultimate supremacy.
The battles and challenges that each player completes will enhance their champions, fostering a larger war driven solely by player interaction. The historical warrior with the most Honors advances in the Combat Lottery, contributing strategically to the finale of their champion in every encounter.
Four new premium tanks are available for entry into the fray, each beautifully crafted in the style of the champions they represent:
Reiter: this heavily armored beast is a post-war medium tank with thick armor and high penetration. It takes control of the battlefield and never falters.
Hatamoto: a medium tank from the escalation period with an ATGM launcher and a 105 mm gun. Silent and invisible, it takes an elevated position from a distance to deliver fire damage.
Ruishi: unleashed from the East, this beast is an aggressively fast tier VIII tank destroyer. High penetration supported by rocket boosters makes it a deadly predator that moves quickly and strikes hard.
Praetor: this tier IX heavy is fast, fortified with thick armor, and incredibly adaptable in combat. With massive damage and the ability to gain a new angle on the battle, thanks to a 10-degree gun depression, this gladiator is a force to be reckoned with.
For the first time in World of Tanks Modern Armor, you can obtain powerful elite 2D commanders for each of the four warriors along with a new 3D commander.
Elite 2D commanders: fully unlocked with 9 skill slots + 30% experience boost.
Obtain them through the Warriors' War Chests or win standard versions through Community Challenges.
German knight commander: The WARRIORS event also brings a new fully rendered 3D commander, Ulrich der Wieseljäger.
The event also marks the return of Letters of Gratitude, this time as WAR SEALS. Available online, players can send rewards and encouragement to each other in support of their warriors.
