505 Games and the Polish independent studio Paradark Studio have announced a publishing partnership for ExeKiller, an upcoming single-player action adventure that combines retro-futuristic cyberpunk aesthetics with the rugged spirit of the Wild West. According to the agreement, 505 Games will publish the game for PC via Steam and assist Paradark Studio in presenting their ambitious project to a wider audience. The story is set in a post-apocalyptic America, a world where advanced technology collides with a devastated landscape, scarcity, and the struggle for survival. Players take on the role of Denzel Phoenix, a bounty hunter known as ExeKiller, who builds his own path through the ruthless frontier by exploring, fighting, conversing, and making decisions.
ExeKiller places a strong emphasis on choice and consequence, so each contract is not just a task, but a story to be explored. Players will track targets through the wasteland, examine crime scenes, gather clues, and use Cybervision to reconstruct events before the situation escalates into conflict. The approach to missions can be tailored to one's own style through combat, stealth, hacking, or negotiation, while decisions such as sparing, betrayal, or accepting money can later affect relationships and the game world. Appaloosa, the main character's floating car, will be an important part of exploration, and the game promises a progression system without classic XP bars, where power develops through modifications, augmentations, and equipment.
