Saber Interactive and Boss Team Games have released new gameplay for the upcoming survival horror Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival based on the literary and film series of the same name. The new video introduces us to a tool called Genesis Configuration that we will use in combat, as well as for solving puzzles.
"Genesis Configuration calls to you. This puzzle box will not seek your passions, it will only reveal new boundaries, as true transformation requires suffering. Your curiosity burns, but the flames that will light the way will burn brighter. This will be a powerful tool for combat, but also for puzzles in Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival. Outside of combat, Genesis Configuration will transform parts of the mysterious labyrinth and open your path, but its full power will be revealed in battle, helping you gather the suffering of enemies and gain various abilities that include mind control to throw various blades and fire manipulation to burn your opponents. You will also use classic hellish chains to sever the limbs of enemies."
Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival is set to release sometime this year for PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S.
