Denis Dyack, the creative director known for the games Eternal Darkness and Legacy of Kain, is back with a new project. His new game Deadhaus Sonata is a third-person action RPG focused on narrative, dark atmosphere, and gameplay from the perspective of undead beings.
The story takes place in the world of Malorum, a dark and decaying kingdom where the line between life and death is no longer clear. Unlike many fantasy RPGs where players fight against monsters and the undead, Deadhaus Sonata turns the formula upside down: here players take on the role of the undead fighting against the living.
Players will develop supernatural powers, strengthen their character, and explore a vast world shaped by ancient forces, political intrigues, and the decisions of the players themselves during their adventure. Deadhaus Sonata can be played solo, but it also supports cooperative play for up to six players, meaning that exploration of this fallen world can be done with a team.
The basic Early Access version of the game costs 19.99 euros. The purchase includes premium credits that can be used for cosmetic items in the game, including cloaks, emblems, and various equipment variants.
Deadhaus Sonata targets players who enjoy dark fantasy worlds, action RPG gameplay, and stories where morality is not necessarily black and white. More information is available on the official Steam page of the game.
