The Museum of Video Game History is organizing a event on Wednesday, January 28, 2026, at 6 PM at the Zagreb Kaptol Boutique Cinema to celebrate the opening of an exhibition on the historical development and significance of the Croatian video game industry.
The event titled "Tales from the Past: The History of Croatian Video Games" is related to the museum exhibition that presents this topic systematically and chronologically for the first time, accessible to a wide audience.
The program includes:
- a historical overview of the development of Croatian video games;
- a panel discussion with veterans and pioneers of the industry;
- an award for lifetime achievement.
The program features Damir Muraja, a computing pioneer and co-author of one of the first Croatian globally successful video games, Janko Mršić-Flogel, a scientist, entrepreneur, and video game creator in the 80s, Admir Elezović, art director at Croteam, the most well-known domestic gaming studio, and Damir Šlogar, founder of the Museum of Video Game History and author of numerous globally recognized games. The program will be moderated by Ante Vrdelja, a veteran of the video game industry with over three decades of experience.
The event is expected to last until 7:30 PM, after which a reception will follow. Tickets for the event can be purchased through the Entrio system.
