Razer has introduced Soma Chroma, its first gaming chair with RGB lighting, which combines the Chroma RGB ecosystem, ergonomic support, and wireless connectivity in one product. The new model is designed to be an active part of the gaming setup, not just another piece of furniture in the room.

The central feature of the chair is Razer Chroma RGB lighting that reacts in real-time to events in over 300 supported games. Through the Razer Synapse software, users can choose from 16.8 million colors and 10 predefined lighting effects to match the chair's appearance with the rest of their setup.

With an emphasis on visual appeal, Razer also highlights all-day comfort for long gaming sessions. The Soma Chroma comes with a built-in ergonomic lumbar arch and a seat made of double-density molded cold-pressed foam, which is intended to provide better back support and a more even pressure distribution while sitting.

The chair's backrest can be lowered to 155 degrees, allowing the model to be adjusted for both competitive gaming and more relaxed use, such as watching content or resting between matches. The construction relies on a reinforced steel frame and a steel base with five legs, focusing on durability and stability during everyday use.

Razer has also paid special attention to the neatness of the setup, as the Soma Chroma is powered through a single USB-C port, from a wall adapter or a standard portable battery. The built-in control panel allows for quick changes of lighting effects, brightness adjustment, and switching between 2.4 GHz connection with a computer and Bluetooth connection with a mobile device via the Razer Furniture App.

With the Soma Chroma model, Razer enters a new category of gaming chairs, targeting users who want the chair to be part of a synchronized RGB experience. According to the company, this is a product that combines aesthetics, functionality, and ergonomics into one solution for a modern battle station.
