Aniplex has announced a limited crossover between the mobile strategy game Resident Evil Survival Unit and Capcom's Monster Hunter series. The event starts on July 2, 2026, at 00:00 UTC and will last until July 29, 2026, at 23:59 UTC. Resident Evil Survival Unit, developed in collaboration with JOYCITY Corporation, will briefly expand its post-apocalyptic world with elements inspired by one of Capcom's most famous action series.
During the event, players will be able to participate in special activities available only during the collaboration and win rewards inspired by Monster Hunter. The organizers have not yet revealed specific details about the content, enemies, or mechanics, but they announce the merging of large monster encounters with the tactical systems of Resident Evil Survival Unit. Additional information will be released later through in-game notifications and official social channels.
