Treyarch, Raven Software and Activision held a special event COD Next yesterday. It was an opportunity for well-known content creators to showcase to players what the multiplayer in Black Ops 7 will look like. They also released a special blog where they explained all the changes in more detail.

Classic prestige is returning to the game and will bring players new skins, equipment blueprints, and additional rewards each time. Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 will launch with 16 maps, 30 weapons of which 16 are completely new to the series. For the first time ever, we will also be able to share our weapon builds with other players using a special code.

"Treyarch's vision for multiplayer is to encourage fast gameplay through various maps designed with a classic three-lane system and a deep connection to the story. To make everything faster, the maps are now standard size and offer more opportunities for flanking the enemy."

Overload is a new mode where players must carry a special device to various areas to earn points. It will be available to try in the upcoming beta test.

A map called Ashes of the Damned was also presented, which they said is one of the largest zombie maps in the series. The new mode Cursed is designed for players seeking a tougher experience, starting only with a pistol.

"Search for relics in Dark Aether that provide you with debuffs. Keep digging to find even better relics and special rewards."

The popular battle royale Warzone is moving to new territories on a map called Haven's Hollow.
