A multiplayer shooter set in the Alan Wake universe, FBC Firebreak is coming this summer. This was announced by Remedy Entertainment, the studio behind the Alan Wake and Control series. On the day of release, the game will be available to subscribers of PS Plus Premium and Game Pass Ultimate.
The Standard version of the game will be available for 40 euros, while the deluxe will be 50. Anyone wishing to upgrade from the standard version will be able to do so for 10 euros. The Deluxe version will include:
- “The Firestarter” Premium Voice Pack
- “The Pencil Pusher” Premium Voice Pack
- Firestarter Armor Set, Apex Revision (Helmet, Body Armor, Gloves)
- Scorched Remnant Double-Barrel Shotgun Skin
- Golden Firebreak Spray
- Classified Requisition: “Firestarter”: A collection of 36 unlockable cosmetic items including weapon skins, sprays, and armor sets
Remedy also stated that they will offer free and paid cosmetic items, which will be time-limited. "A system known as Requisitions will reward players with new gear and skins through gameplay. Players can purchase items with in-game currency they earn; items will not be time-limited or rotated, but will be permanently available."
Classified Requisitions items will be paid, but players have been assured that they are purely cosmetic and do not impact gameplay.
