Continues work on reviving old titles

Sega has announced that it has canceled the ambitious project Super Game, which was announced five years ago and was supposed to be a series of multiple AAA titles showcasing Sega's expertise in technology. This news came from Sega's presentation of financial results for the fourth quarter of 2025, and it has been confirmed that the revival of classic titles is still in development.

During The Game Awards 2023, Sega announced that it is working on new titles in the Shinobi, Jet Set Radio, Streets of Rage, Golden Axe, and Crazy Taxi series; since then, only Shinobi: Art of Vengeance has been released, while the others are still in development.

This report and future plans have further solidified Virtua Fighter and Alien Isolation, which have new games in development and are financially projected for release at the end of March 2027.
