Microsoft and Discord have announced a new partnership that allows Discord Nitro subscribers to access a special version of the Xbox Game Pass subscription called “Starter Edition.”
The new subscription is available to all existing and future Discord Nitro users, who for €9.99 per month or €100 per year gain access to a collection of over 50 games for PC and Xbox consoles.
The offer includes numerous well-known titles such as:
DOOM Eternal
Fallout 4
Psychonauts 2
Hades
Stardew Valley
DayZ
Slay the Spire
Batman: Arkham Knight
Grounded
Halo Wars 2
In addition to downloading games on PC and consoles, users also receive up to 10 hours of monthly cloud streaming via Xbox Cloud without the need to install games.
The partnership between Xbox and Discord comes after earlier announcements that Microsoft wants to make Game Pass “more flexible” for users, and there has been speculation for some time about a deeper integration of the two platforms.
According to information available on the official Discord pages, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers can also gain additional Discord Nitro benefits through special promotions and bonuses.
