CD Projekt RED has confirmed that their popular RPG Cyberpunk 2077 will be available to Xbox Game Pass Premium and Ultimate subscribers on Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One consoles starting March 10.
The game takes players to the dark futuristic metropolis of Night City, where they assume the role of the mercenary V, a fully customizable character equipped with cybernetic implants. Throughout the story, players participate in a risky heist of an experimental prototype known as Relic, but the plan soon goes awry, triggering a series of events that forever change V's life.
Cyberpunk 2077 offers a rich narrative open-world experience where every decision impacts the story's development and relationships with characters. Players have access to branching perk systems, futuristic cyberware, and a variety of weapons – from thermal katanas to unusual “smart” or even talking pistols – allowing them to shape their own playstyle.
The version of the game available through Game Pass includes all major updates released since the game's launch, which have brought numerous technical improvements, new quests, vehicles, and additional character customization options. On the Xbox Series X console, the game can be played in Performance mode at 60 FPS or in Quality mode with 4K Ultra HD display, while the Xbox One version includes content up to Update 1.6 – Edgerunners Update.
