The Zagreb Gamedev Meetup took place on November 7, 2025, at Scena F22. In collaboration with the Croatian Audiovisual Centre (HAVC) and the Academy of Dramatic Art of the University of Zagreb, visitors were able to attend presentations from as many as 13 different gamedev studios and their latest games (released and in development).

Studio Moxo presented their experimental video game All Living Things, an animated puzzle in the style of an art book inspired by the Ripley Scroll - an alchemical manuscript from the 15th century. Throughout 12 intricate visual puzzles, each reflecting a phase in the alchemical process, the player selects and places objects to create a looping animation. Guided by cryptic verses and symbolic images, the player unlocks a new animation with each solved puzzle and attempts to reach the end.
Iron Ward presented Atre: Dominance Wars in which the player takes on the role of an evil wizard who wants to conquer the world. Manipulate or conquer your way to divinity, mastering mysterious spells and transforming your armies in this 4X strategy game. It unfolds in real-time/turn-based gameplay and offers the player the opportunity to further develop their character, from perfecting weapons and artifacts to learning magic. The goal is simple - achieve complete domination or destroy the world itself. The game's development can be supported on Kickstarter.
Bullets & Brains is an arcade 3D shooter from Ajvar Studio. From a bird's eye view that pumps adrenaline, the action is set in a post-apocalyptic world overrun by hordes of zombies hungry for brains. Players prepare for an intense battle against an endless assault of the undead, exploring regions of the remaining world and building their camp to survive as long as possible.
Turing Studio is in the final stages of completing the game Crispy Circuits – a pleasant simulator of the world of electrical engineering! The player connects, tests, assembles, and breaks circuits in spectacular ways through a series of trials and errors, all with the goal of finally repairing the plane for the hamster Crispy.
Cloak and Boffer is an innovative 2D action-adventure game about a group of people at a LARP event called "Dragon Meadow." The player takes on the role of a character who plays another character in a fantastical world full of action that they have created themselves. Through role-playing, the player explores the thin line between reality and fantasy in a very social, multicultural live event. Studio Spektar provides an experience of exploring the theme of LARP through the game, specifically the ways in which people use "pretending" to escape from social norms and their personal real-world problems.
Aniq has presented his narrative adventure with a hidden object quest in the point-and-click game Hollow Bequest. As a legendary detective, the player must investigate the disappearance of a former mentor. Each clue reveals dark secrets that haunt the town, and what was supposed to be a quick investigation gradually turns into a fight for life and freedom. Discover the secrets and mysteries over 8 episodes, where every choice matters.
Immanauts is a science fiction action-adventure game driven by the story from the studio Gungrounds. Set in the near future where technological advancement has created incredible new possibilities for medicine - but also dangers that threaten the world, a biological war begins. The player takes on the role of a doctor who defies a corrupt medical system to make the world a better place, performing nanoscopic surgeries, turning the body into their battlefield. The goal of the game is to outsmart infections, manipulate the immune system, and face the consequences of every choice you make. Each decision opens new paths, alliances, and consequences - endless possibilities in a fight where skill alone is not enough to win.
Eksperimental Games has highlighted its game Jancer, a super-tight music-based platformer. Through the game, the player meets famous classical composers (and cat forms), experiences their remixed compositions as choreographed stories, explores a music-driven world, finds secret notes, and uncovers hidden challenges. The idea is to help Jancer learn about music, about compositions, but also about himself as he gains new experiences.
Obala is a peaceful and pleasant city-building game where you develop settlements along a series of islands inspired by the Croatian coast. By connecting shipping routes, you help your small archipelago to progress and grow. It is developed by the studio Krav with the aim of creating a slow and relaxing simulation of life on Croatian islands, where you build small, charming villages and towns along the coast and manage their daily activities such as fishing and trade between islands.
Break through to victory in Shellers.io - a top-notch instagib game with machine learning bots, randomly generated maps, and a futuristic sci-fi environment. Fearem Studio brings innovation with energy shields on players' backs that provide protection from enemy fire in this fast-paced deathmatch game. These shields can be enhanced by achieving kills, but will also deactivate when hit by enemy attacks. Players compete against others in intense, competitive matches across dynamically generated maps.

Tiny Meow Studio has presented Way where the player takes on the role of a postman, traveling by boat between islands and places on the Dalmatian coast. This procedurally generated game with card mechanics combines multiple genres to create an original, pleasant, and fun gaming experience. The player assumes the role of a postman with the main goal of delivering mail and packages on the island they are currently on, traveling by boat between islands and coastal locations. The action takes place in Dalmatia, and the challenges and characters the player encounters are typical of our Dalmatian towns and cities.
The Mystery of Hotel Knopp is a relaxing 3D adventure inspired by notable locations in the town of Novska, historical events, and the activities of the famous Knopp family, which influenced the development of society and culture in Novska. The protagonist of the game is a student named Larisa who comes to Novska to explore the abandoned mysterious Hotel Knopp from the 19th century, about which unusual stories circulate. Through a charming and somewhat supernatural narrative, Larisa solves the hotel's puzzles, finds items she can photograph, combine, and note their properties, with the aim of unraveling the mystery and bringing life back to the abandoned hotel. The game is developed by Slikovnica, under the guidance of Tamara Josić.

After the game presentations, a short quiz of 8 questions followed for all participants. After selecting the winners and awarding prizes, a snack was served in the premises of Scene F22.
