Sony Interactive Entertainment and Polyphony Digital have announced that Gran Turismo 7 will receive an update called “Spec III” in December 2025. Additionally, the total sales of the entire Gran Turismo series have surpassed 100 million copies worldwide.
New content in the “Spec III” update
The update will bring the following novelties:
- Two new tracks: Yas Marina Circuit and Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve
- Eight new cars
- Support for Dunlop tires
- Introduction of the Data Logger feature
- Increase in the “Collector Level” limit
- Unlimited car invitations in Brand Central
- Improved Weekly Challenges
- New opening movie
- New “Menu Book Seasonal Menu”
- New events within the Circuit Experience game mode
- New “Curations” in Scapes mode
- Improvements in online racing
