Sony has revealed that MLB The Show 25 will be released on March 18 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch, and everyone who pre-orders the game can start as early as March 14. This will also be the first year that the game will not be available on Game Pass from day one, as has been the case since MLB The Show 21 was the first title on the well-known platform.
It has also been announced that there will be no more support for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The first gameplay trailer and pre-orders will be available on February 4. Sony will also present more trailers in the coming weeks, hosted by Robert Flores (MLB Network).
This year's cover will feature players Paul Skenes (Pittsburgh Pirates), Elly De La Cruz (Cincinnati Reds), and Gunnar Henderson (Baltimore Orioles).
