Focus Entertainment has released a new video showcasing what is included in the first update for Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2. Players can try the new Lethal difficulty, a PvE operation where they face the greatest Tyranid threat, the Hierophant Bio-Titan.
Regarding future plans, they stated: "Throughout the rest of the year and into 2025, new content will be coming to Space Marine 2. Free updates will include the upcoming Neo-Volkite pistol, and later new PvE operations, PvP maps and modes, as well as a Horde mode.
They also added: "Along with the updates we will continue to add in the coming months, the development team at Saber Interactive and publisher Focus Entertainment will introduce a new season pass with a Dark Angel theme."
This will include new skins for weapons and armor, new colors based on the Unforgiven faction, and will enrich customization options on the Battle Barge.
Focus also announced that 4.5 million people have played the game since its release on September 9, 2024.
