Studio head Todd Howard from Bethesda Game Studios warns that The Elder Scrolls VI will not be released anytime soon. Although it is the "main" project of his team, Howard emphasizes that we are still far from completion. The reason for this is the need for a creative reset after the previous title, which has delayed the sequel. Despite this, development is active: the studio is working on the game every day. Howard stresses that he wants a clearer departure from previous games in the series – he notes that a long wait can be justified if it is used for quality.
Since the original announcement of the game, a long seven years have passed, and we will certainly be following new information with special attention. As things stand, we wouldn't be surprised if The Elder Scrolls VI is released between 2028 and 2030 for PC, PlayStation 6, and the new generation of Xbox consoles.
