Last month PlayStation Productions and Sony Pictures announced a film adaptation of Helldivers, but they didn't reveal much more at that time. However, yesterday we received information that the film will premiere on November 10, 2027, with Jason Momoa in the lead role, while the producers will be Hutch Parker (Wolverine, X-Men Days of Future Past), Asad Qizilbash (PlayStation Studios), and Justin Lin (Fast & Furious) with his company Perfect Storm Entertainment.
PlayStation Productions and Sony Pictures have previously collaborated on adaptations of Uncharted, Twisted Metal, and The Last of Us.
