The Fallout x Call of Duty crossover began on January 8, and all content is already available as part of the Season 01 Reloaded update. The event brings limited modes, a new map, and exclusive rewards in Black Ops 7, Zombies, and Warzone. In Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, Deathclaw Hunt is active, a limited Endgame World Event that takes players into a Fallout-inspired wasteland with toxic air, Deathclaws, and Feral Ghouls. Multiplayer is enhanced with the Vault Town map, a Fallout version of the legendary Nuketown. Two new Limited Time modes are also available: S.P.E.C.I.A.L. Mayhem, a 6v6 mode that combines Team Deathmatch, Domination, Hardpoint, and Kill Confirmed with Fallout power-ups like Jet, RadAway, and Pie, and Ghoul Infection, a 24-player Infected mode where eliminated players become ghouls, while the Glowing Ghoul represents the greatest threat. The Zombies mode introduces Project RADS, a limited mode on the maps Ashes of the Damned and Astra Malorum, where the radiation level increases with each round. Players must carefully manage radiation using RadX and RadAway, while Deathclaws and Feral Ghouls further increase the challenge. High radiation exposure slows movement, weakens weapons, and removes perks. In Call of Duty: Warzone, Power Armor Royale is available, a new Trio Limited Time mode in radiation-hit Verdansk. Power Armor falls from the sky, radiation zones constantly change, and teams must fight for Power Armor or use RadAway to survive.
The event also includes a rich rewards system. The Fallout Event Pass allows players to unlock Fallout-inspired weapons, Operator skins, and cosmetics through a free and premium pass. Through the Fallout Quantum Exchange, players collect Bottle Caps that can be exchanged for additional rewards, while the Global Leaderboard event Baron of the Wasteland rewards the most successful players with exclusive camos, calling cards, and other cosmetic items. A special bonus is intended for Fallout 76 players; from January 12 to February 4, playing just one match in Black Ops 7 or Warzone unlocks a free Centurion Recruit Helmet in Fallout 76. The Tracer Pack: Fallout has also arrived in the store, bringing Operator skins for Lucy from the Fallout TV series, Fallout-themed weapon blueprints with tracers and death FX effects, a V.A.T.S. HUD theme, a finishing move, and additional cosmetics.
