Urban Jungle is a simulation game developed by the indie Croatian team Kylyk games, about which we have already written a review for Xbox, and it has now arrived on Nintendo Switch, attracting the attention of fans of relaxing games.
The entire game mechanics reflect a simple and charming concept where you turn apartments into lush green oases by placing various plants. Each plant has its specific characteristics, which ultimately transforms the game into a beautiful puzzle simulation. Some plants require more sunlight, others more moisture, but not all plants get along equally, which can diminish the quality of the plants. The mechanics are very intuitive and extremely easy to understand, combined with beautiful warm colors that create a lovely and relaxing atmosphere.
The story follows Ayta, who has loved plants her whole life and after working in a large corporation decides to take the risk of opening her own plant shop. The story starts from her childhood with her grandmother to her growing up and lasts about three hours. Although the story may be simple, it is filled with emotions for all horticulture enthusiasts.
The game is currently available on Nintendo Switch for €9.99, and if you enjoy games that provide satisfaction through arranging plants, we believe this is a fantastic choice for you or your travel companion on the way to the sea.
