Bungie has announced a new closed technical test for Marathon that will take place from October 22 to 28. The test will be available for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S. Players can sign up to participate via the official website until October 16, while sign-ups for PC will be available via Steam from October 13.
"This is a critical point for us as we test everything we have improved from the alpha version, including three maps, five runners, chat, combat, story, and more. The technical test is part of what is still in development and will contain only a portion of what is planned for the full release of Marathon, and it is focused on early player experience." said Bungie.
