Silver Lining Interactive, Fat Alien Cat, and Nomo Studio have announced that Momento, a relaxing decorating game with a narrative twist, will be released in June. The exact release date has not yet been revealed, but players can already add the game to their wishlist on their chosen platform.
In addition to the previously announced versions (PC, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 1 and 2), an Xbox Series X/S release has also been confirmed, and the official store pages are now open. For collectors, it has been further confirmed that physical editions for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 5 are available for pre-order through Silver Lining Direct and selected local retailers.
Momento takes players into a child's room, but unlike classic space decorating games, every item you choose to keep or discard can affect the future of the main character. In this way, decorating transforms into a personal story about growing up, memories, and life decisions.
The game is developed by a small three-member team of parents from Brisbane, Australia, and is described as a zen experience that can be played at your own pace. Players can follow the emotional Story Mode or indulge in Creative Mode, which offers more freeform editing without narrative constraints.
Among the main features are narrative decorating, space development through different life stages, two gameplay styles, and interactive elements and puzzles hidden in the environment.
