Sonic the Hedgehog 4 has reached an important milestone in production, as the film has officially finished shooting. The news was confirmed by director Jeff Fowler, who stated that he and the team have filmed, as he puts it, the best Sonic movie yet.
Along with the confirmation of the end of filming, it is also known that the film is expected to hit theaters on March 19, 2027. Fowler shared a brief teaser about what’s next, and special attention was drawn to Metal Sonic, who was previously announced at the end of the third film. It was also revealed that Amy Rose will appear in the sequel.
According to the information available so far, many familiar actors from previous installments are returning in the new film. Among them are Jim Carrey as Dr. Eggman, Ben Schwartz as Sonic, Idris Elba as Knuckles, Colleen O'Shaughnessey as Tails, and Keanu Reeves as Shadow.
