The independent filipino studio Yangyang Mobile has announced that their narrative dating/cooking sim High Times – Dating/Cooking Sim is coming to consoles as well. In addition to the previously confirmed PC version for Steam, the game will be available for Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch starting July 23, 2026.
High Times is an unusual combination of a visual novel, culinary simulation, and dating sim where players literally “eat their feelings.” The story takes place in a special donut shop, where preparing sweets is not just a job, but a form of therapy. Players will discover customers' problems through conversations and then, by carefully selecting ingredients, try to prepare the ideal donut that can help them find courage, comfort, or emotional closure.
The central concept of the game is called Donut Therapy. Each customer has their own story, and the player must pay attention to their emotions and needs to choose the right ingredients at the right moment. A wrong choice can change the course of the conversation and lead to a different outcome, while a well-prepared donut can open the way to reconciliation, honesty, or a new relationship.
In addition to the culinary aspect, High Times also features the development of your own café. Players will be able to create and upgrade recipes, earn tips, buy more than 100 decorations for the shop, and unlock advanced tools for more complex culinary challenges.
A strong emphasis is also placed on relationships with characters. The game features over 30 different characters, six of whom can be romantically pursued. Each significant relationship can develop in multiple directions, and player decisions lead to different endings for individual customers.
Yangyang Mobile also highlights the rich presentation in the style of a premium visual novel. High Times includes full English voice acting, original music, a catchy main theme, and fully animated cutscenes.
