demo version cooming soon

Prophecy Games has announced Deadzone: Rogue 2, the sequel to the science-fiction roguelite shooter Deadzone: Rogue. The game is in development for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam, but the release date has not yet been confirmed. A demo version is coming soon.

Deadzone: Rogue 2 once again brings first-person action, this time on a ravaged Earth occupied by Monarch. Players take on the role of Talon 13-10 and fight through a new campaign that can be played solo or in cooperative mode for up to three players.

Gameplay is based on a roguelite structure, combining weapons, augments, perks, and elemental effects. Each death allows for further character enhancement, while players can build different playstyles, from cyber snipers to biological tanks or stealth assassins.

The sequel brings new environments, biomechanical hordes, patrolling enemies, large boss battles, and more than 30 elemental weapons. Developers are announcing the possibility of creating powerful combinations, such as grenades that trigger chain lightning or ice-enhanced SMGs for controlling larger groups of enemies.

The first Deadzone: Rogue attracted over half a million players and has “Very Positive” ratings on Steam, so the sequel clearly aims to further expand the formula of fast-paced sci-fi roguelite shooting.
