Feral Interactive has released a free update for Hitman: Absolution on iOS and Android, adding the popular Contracts mode to the mobile versions of the game. This mode allows players to create their own assassination missions and then share them with others online.
In the Contracts mode, players select up to three targets from existing locations in the game, eliminate them in the desired way, and then publish their Contract for others to try to beat. The weapons used and disguises set the challenge standard, while additional conditions like hiding bodies or avoiding detection can increase the final score.
The update also brings online leaderboards for individual Contracts challenges, as well as broader rankings that track the most successful and wealthiest assassins. Players who want to earn the full reward will need to replicate or surpass the performance of the challenge author, and the earned money can be used to unlock new weapons and disguises.
A regularly updated list of Featured Contracts challenges is also available, including those designed by Feral Interactive, as well as specially highlighted community creations. Players can also invite friends to time-limited competitions and see who can best execute a specific Contract.
Hitman: Absolution with the Contracts mode is available for purchase on the App Store and Google Play Store.
