Release expected in 2026.

Paradox Interactive and studio Urban Games have officially announced a partnership related to the release of the game Transport Fever 3. The long-awaited sequel to the popular transport and management series is set to arrive in 2026 for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S.

According to both studios, this is the most ambitious sequel in the series to date, which is expected to offer the greatest number of possibilities for building and managing transport networks. Players will be able to develop vast transport empires through railway lines, road networks, shipping routes, and air traffic, all set within four different environments – temperate, desert, tropical, and a completely new subarctic area.

One of the biggest innovations will be the significantly improved terrain generation and world simulation system, where settlements and industries will dynamically develop based on players' decisions. The development team promises more than 250 authentic vehicles covering over a century of transport history, including trains, buses, trams, trucks, ships, airplanes, and for the first time – helicopters.

The founder and director of Urban Games, Basil Weber, stated that the partnership with Paradox is a significant step for the series and that both companies share a similar long-term vision for the development of management games and community engagement.

On the other hand, Mattias Rengstedt from Paradox Interactive stated that Transport Fever 3 fits perfectly into Paradox's portfolio of strategy and management titles and believes that the game will attract both veterans of the genre and completely new players.

It is important to note that the partnership includes the publishing of the game, but not the rights to the intellectual property itself, which remains owned by Urban Games.
