Pearl Abyss has released a new update for Black Desert Mobile, and the main novelty is Boss Blitz, a new combat mode focused on fast and tactical boss fights.
Boss Blitz is available to players with at least 60,000 Combat Power and features rotating bosses and two difficulty levels. Players have three minutes in battle to identify the opponent's weaknesses, avoid attacks, and execute effective counters. The beginner difficulty offers assistance in using skills, while the advanced difficulty removes the display of instructions and rewards better knowledge of attack patterns.
The new gameplay mode also includes a seasonal ranking system divided into Assault, Onslaught, and Extreme ranks. Progression and demotion in ranks are determined by weekly results across all servers, and players can earn Furious Battle Loot Chests and Tokens of Valor, which can be exchanged with NPC Tachros in Velia.
In celebration of the release of Boss Blitz, a special event is ongoing in the game until May 24, 2026, during which players can complete combo missions and win an All-in-One Raid Chest with tickets for various boss encounters.
The 2026 Martial God Championship is also underway, a PvP tournament for the best players in 1v1 and 2v2 formats. After the preliminary rounds, the Top 8 finals will take place on May 16, 2026, with a broadcast on the official Black Desert Mobile YouTube channel.
