Gaijin Entertainment and Matter Team have announced that the upcoming Active Matter has surpassed 500,000 additions to the Steam wishlist. It is a hardcore online shooter set in a shattered multiverse, where players will take on the roles of operatives in dangerous raids. The Steam version is planned for 2026, while an early version of the game is already available for purchase through the Gaijin Store.
In Active Matter, players will fight for control over an unstable substance that can alter reality, cause disturbances in gravity, space, and time, and create dangerous anomalies. During raids, they will clash with enemy squads and monsters, fulfill contracts, collect valuable loot, and try to escape before the multiverse consumes them. The new gameplay trailer showcases what combat and survival will look like in this unpredictable world.
