Arc System Works revealed the next team of the upcoming fighting game Marvel Tokon Fighting Souls during the EVO Japan tournament. After the X-Men and The Amazing Guardians, it's time for the most popular Marvel team, the Avengers, who will consist of Captain America (Brian Bloom), Iron Man (Josh Keaton), Hulk (Fred Tatasciore), and Black Panther, whose mask will be worn by Shuri (Erica Luttrell) instead of T'Challa (Erica Luttrell).
Along with the Fighting Avengers, we also got a brief look at a new map set in the kingdom of Wakanda, currently ruled by the aforementioned Shuri. The trailer also features the original character The Champion, the oldest member of the Elders of the Universe, who travels the world with his right hand Promoter and organizes fights among the inhabitants to save their homes.
Marvel Tokon Fighting Souls is set to release on August 6 for PC and PlayStation 5, and after the demo version that was available at the EVO tournament, the next stops will be Combo Breaker 2026 (May 22 in Chicago) and Hong Kong Comic Con 2026 (May 29), which will feature a new version with Black Panther and Wakanda, meaning there will be 13 playable characters and five maps.
